Explore the vast array of outdoor activities available in Southern Maine with Registered
Maine Guide, Rick Navarra. Rick has been fishing and hunting in the Maine woods and
waters for over 30 years, as well as throughout the country for the past ten years. Based
in the Sebago Lake Region, home of the Landlocked Salmon, Rick offers his guests the
opportunity to fish for Salmon and Togue in the morning on Sebago Lake, then fish for
Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass in the afternoon and evening on several of the area
lakes and ponds. Or catch an evening hatch on one of the world-class trout streams
within a short drive. For the saltwater enthusiast, the coast is accessible within less than
an hour's drive, and the Striped Bass fishing has been phenomenal, with Bluefish usually
available by August.
For a relaxing day, flatwater canoeing is an option on some of the smaller ponds, and is
an extremely enjoyable way to fish for trout or bass in a peaceful, serene setting.
I hope your fishing trip will be a successful one, if you measure your success in the size
or number of fish caught. At the same time, I will try to teach my guests the skills
necessary to pursue this sport on their own, as well as point out a bit of the "lore" of the
region, and provide some humor while enjoying some of the most beautiful natural
resources the state has to offer. Whichever trip you choose, I want it to be safe, fun,
informative, and make you want to return to the State of Maine for all it has to offer.
Please feel free to call or e-mail at the number or address listed above so that we can
arrange the trip that is most suitable to your needs and sporting preference.
